Manifesto

We believe that the future belongs to leaders who feel responsible for using AI in a fair and uplifting way, reconciling economic opportunity and human and planetary renewal. Why? because AI used solely for productivity purposes creates resistance, social divisions, inefficiencies, and risks of losing control over human beings.
At Datae Humanum, we help leaders start with people in order to be more effective with AI: we value culture, organization, ethics, renewal.
Datae Humanum manifesto for « Consciously-led AI, with humanity and intelligence »
Free will
Humans remain free to think, decide, and act—they do not blindly follow AI. AI does not replace humans if they enhance their discernment. It is up to us to learn to discern good AI from bad AI.
AI can give us back time—what for ? To reconnect, build relationships, and rebuild a more convivial workplace, more human customer relationships.
Human beings deserve respect. AI has no intrinsic dignity. It is up to us to protect and uplift people’s dignity in the way we design and deploy AI, in counteracting its undesirable properties and in maximizing its desirable properties.
AI looks like the left brain (only). Humans are endowed with a complete brain, right and left. True intelligence combines logic with intuition, context, and meaning in a systemic way. That is ours. Let’s activate it. What if the AI era were an opportunity to unleash our human intelligence ?
AI is a lever for profit, but it also serves purpose far beyond profit. It helps build a fairer and better-connected society.
Ethics is not just a matter of compliance. It enables AI innovation to be balanced, sustainable, and human-centered, at scale. Through ethics, we can optimize AI innovation to be both profitable AND fair.
AI systems must be explainable and open—not only to technical teams, but also to executives, employees, citizens and governance bodies.
No one is left behind. Not women, not the elderly, nor less AI-mature nations. To be trustworthy, AI reconciles, breaks silos and reflects diversity in its consciously inclusive design, avoiding implicit cognitive biases, exclusion, and discrimination.
AI is developed and used in a way that ensures the protection of nature while accelerating and strengthening its sustainability.
Managing teams in the age of AI requires a change in mindset, calls for rethinking our intimate relationships with technology and AI, for authorizing entrepreneurial drive across silos, and a new corporate philosophy in terms of how to act, think, and manage.
