A humanist leader, Helen Zeitoun founded Datae Humanum with a strong conviction : AI will only create lasting value if it is designed for humans—and with humans. Her mission today is to help CEOs, executive committees, CD/TOs, and boards of directors of large corporations and SMEs/mid-cap companies navigate their firm’s future value and renewal through AI —with a human-centered approach to governance. Bringing in clarity and sense of responsibility, not being blind to the tech teams actions.

In over 20 years at the helm of global survey, consumer data insights and marketing decision-making companies (GfK, Ipsos), as a member of the groups’ executive committee, CEO France, Western Europe, and CEO Global Business Units, she has successfully led large-scale transformations at the intersection of growth, data-AI models, and human renewal. And this across as many facets as products, services, sales force, organization, operational processes, and business models.

Her learnings? The success of AI depends on three factors: gradual and profound human adoption, robust and strategic data foundations, and total alignment between leadership and corporate governance.

A pioneer in AI leadership in the field of marketing decision-making, she founded the global structure Ipsos Global Science, which combines AI, data science, neuroscience, and behavioral science—in partnership with MIT Sloan and the Sorbonne Neuroscience Center. Her conviction: data/AI strategy works best in open ecosystems and based on qualified data and often neglected human sciences.
As a Senior Advisor and board member in a variety of sectors—technology, consumer goods, luxury, mobility, retail, consulting, media, B2B-B2C industry—she brings in-depth expertise in pivot strategies, growth, brand experience, customers, employees, and operational performance, accelerated by “fair AI.” Her guiding principle: in any strategic pivot, AI must be subject to responsible and sustainable governance, unleashing renewal for both customers and employees without replacing human connection.
She chairs the digital and AI Advisory Board of a large listed group, which reinforces her belief that a group CDO should not be limited to setting up data-AI solutions, but should influence change management and inspire a company strategy of value renewal.
Her award-winning book Datae Humanum (published in 2022, awarded in 2023 by the Academy of Commercial Sciences) marked a turning point in her career—from managing P&Ls and large French and global teams to building a high-level Senior Advisory firm, in an agile and personnalized ecosystem of former CEOs and experts, helping leaders make AI a force for human and business renewal.
